![]() Does that mean we're going to get a second generation of Bridgerton books? I hope so because I'm dying to know about him, as well as how Daphne and Simon deal with having an unexpected bundle of joy thrown into their later years. Quinn's first epilogue deals with what circumstances might make Simon WANT to read those letters - and my only complaint about this story is that now I'm dying to find out what's wrong with Georgie (if anything is at all) and I was hoping that the answer to THAT would come about in one of the later epilogues and it never did. The first being whether or not Simon, Daphne's husband, ever read the letters that his father left for him. If you have read all the Bridgerton books then this is a sweet and mostly satisfying compilation of shorts that will remind you why you fell in love with the characters in the first place and give you some closure on some things that you always wondered about. If you haven't already read ALL of the Bridgerton books then don't bother getting this, go back and start at the beginning because otherwise you will be hopelessly lost. The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After is a collection of epilogues answering questions that readers must have been plaguing Julia Quinn with. Get to know the Bridgertons all over again - because Happily Ever After is a whole lot of fun. What happened next? Does Simon ever read his father's letters? Do Francesca and Michael become parents? Who would win in a Pall Mall grudge match? Does 'The End' really have to be the end? Now, with The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, Julia Quinn delivers eight sexy, funny and heart-warming '2nd epilogues', plus a bonus story ('Violet in Bloom') about none other than the wise and witty Violet Bridgerton herself. Through eight bestselling novels, readers laughed, cried, and fell in love. These are the Bridgertons: less a family than a force of nature. Eight brothers and sisters, assorted in-laws, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, (not to mention an overweight corgi), plus an irrepressible matriarch who's a match for any of them. Once upon a time, a historical romance author created a family. New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn presents a collection of 'second epilogues' to her bestselling Bridgerton series, now a series created by Shonda Rhimes for Netflix, and also includes a bonus novella, 'Violet in Bloom', about the Bridgerton matriarch.
